The Texas workers' comp system is stacked against the injured worker. There is no doubt
that the special interest groups have lobbied the politicians to make the work comp system in Texas "business friendly." These
politicians forget who they represent - the people of Texas. Workers' compensation insurance companies
take in premiums promising to provide coverage for those that are injured on the job, and they have learned to maximize
their profits by denying benefits to claimants all across this state. Good employees give their time and energy
to make money for their employers, only to be abandoned if they are unfortunate enough to get hurt at work.
Simple things cause injuries, like lifting a box, slipping and falling, twisting and
turning. The injured didn't plan to get hurt. They were just doing their job, like they do every other day.
But things happen, and when an injury occurs, the injured employee becomes the target. The employer turns against them.
The insurance company turns against them. Some claimants fight for their rights, others lose hope and give up.
Rarely do claimants maximize their potential to receive full compensation for their injuries.
This site is dedicated to providing injured workers with the necessary tools to
maximize their recoveries on their claims. This site can be used to find doctors to treat an injury, attorneys
to handle the legal problems, and other tools to equip the injured worker with all of the necessary information
to make sure the insurance companies don't take advantage of them or push them around.
Texas injured workers can and should be able to easily determine their rights. DallasWorkComp.Com
hopes to make the plight of the injured a little easier to handle. The site is a work in progress. Updates
will occur regularly. Check back often for new additions. If you have any suggestions, please email the administrator
at administrator@dallasworkcomp.com.
